Truth Unlocked Somatic Diagnostic — Alana Aviel

The Diagnostic — one session

Accessing wild amounts of power should be your norm.

Infinite power to create the life you envision is natural. On your best days you can feel what you're actually capable of — the ideas arrive, the work moves, things fall into place around you like they were waiting for you to show up. That's not a fluke and it's not you having a good week. That's the baseline you're built for.

So what gives? If you know how it should be, you spiral, over-effort, and scream to the heavens asking why it isn't. The truth about what's blocking you is in plain sight — but you're inside of it, and so it's nowhere to be seen.

Let's find out why it's not.

What's happening

Having been on a spiritual journey for some time, there's no shortage of things you're doing.

That much is usually clear. You've read the things, done the programs, put in the work, and you've probably got more information than most people around you. And still something isn't moving. You've even grown to be at peace with the block, channeling your epic patience with spirit to tolerate it.

You've likely said some version of this:

  • I know what to do, I just don't do it.
  • I'll start once things settle down.
  • Something's off and I can't name it.
  • I've done so much work on this and it's still here.

Lit up in most areas of your life, and frozen in exactly one. That's not a character flaw, darling, that's a pattern, and patterns can be found.

The part nobody has said to you

The block will hold its ground until you replace it with something better.

And when it's finally named, it's so obvious you'll wonder how it survived this long.

It survived because it looks like the world you live inside, which makes a world without it nearly impossible to picture. Whether it shows up as money problems, energy drain, or not being recognized for your gifts, it's the same problem underneath — separation from source.

And you've likely explained it away. If it's coming anyway, then the only two explanations left for the delay are that it isn't the right time yet, or you haven't found the right method.

Or even:

  • It's divine timing, it'll come when I'm ready.
  • This is my soul's path, I chose this before I came here.
  • The universe is protecting me from something I can't see yet.
  • I'm still healing, I have to be patient with the process.
  • Maybe this is my lesson and I'm meant to sit in it.
  • My nervous system isn't ready to hold it yet.
  • It's a test of faith, I just need to surrender more.

None of these are wrong, exactly. That's what makes them work so well. Each one is true enough to be worth believing, and each one buys the block another year.

The clarity about where you're going has been hiding what's in the way.

Why it stayed hidden

It looks like you.

A protection that's been running since you were young doesn't feel like a cage, it feels like personality — like realism, like just how you are.

Even more frustratingly, mindset work makes little impact, because it talks to the part of you that was never in charge — which is why you can understand something with total clarity and still live inside it every day.

Then there's the structural piece, which is the part I'd really like you to take in: you cannot diagnose yourself. The eye can't see itself. The part of you that would notice what's in the way is the same part producing it. So all that time you spent looking and not finding, that wasn't you failing at something — it was never available to you alone. You needed a mirror, that's all.

I'd add one thing to that, because it's the piece that makes people exhale. You're not unaware. You're probably one of the more self-aware people in any room you walk into, and you can narrate your own patterns better than most therapists could. That's not the issue. The issue is that awareness produced by the same distortion it's trying to see feels exactly like clear sight, and it isn't.

Who I am

Alana Aviel

Professional Mirror Muse

I woke up from a coma with no memories. People came and told me who I was — where I'd worked, where I'd gone to school, what my life had been. I had nothing to dispute any of it with. I'd just arrived.

What I learned in that arrival is the thing I've built everything on since: identity is assembled from pieces handed to you. Hold them lightly and they stay optional. Hold them tightly and they become the walls of the room you live in — and you'll never see them, because you're inside them.

For years afterward I fed beautiful minds with spiritual knowledge, and kept watching implementation stall behind something people couldn't see in themselves. So I went and got every tool that actually reaches a blind spot — Gestalt, IFS, Family Constellations — and merged it with the psychic sight I've always had. Now the whole world looks like patterns to me. Not separate problems. One current, running underneath all of them.

I work direct, with somatic tools, because the body doesn't perform and it doesn't protect the story. I'm after the thing you can't see, so you can set it down and go live the magnificent life you already built.

In a normal week

Here's what the difference actually looks like.

Flying blind Working hard, moving slowly
  • You take the smaller opportunity because the bigger one feels like it belongs to someone else
  • You price under your worth and call it being reasonable
  • Three weeks to make a decision, two more to stop second-guessing it
  • You say yes when you mean no, then resent being asked
  • You rehearse the conversation before, and replay it after
  • You wait for the version of yourself who's ready, and she doesn't arrive
  • The effort goes into managing something rather than building something
Clear sight Same you, nothing in the way
  • You take the bigger one, because it stopped looking like it was for other people
  • You ask for the number without your voice doing the thing it does
  • You decide in an afternoon and don't take it apart afterward
  • You say no easily, and it costs you nothing
  • You just have the conversation
  • You start the thing you've circled for three years, because the doorway is open now
  • The same actions cost you a fraction of what they used to

Nothing on the right requires more discipline than what you're already doing. That's the part worth sitting with — it's the same you, doing the same things, without something in the way.

What we actually do

We sit down together and I ask you direct questions.

And when the story starts running instead of the truth, we go direct to get the truth from the body, which cannot lie.

With somatic testing, we read how your body reacts, because your body answers before your mind gets a chance to explain it away.

You'll bring me circumstances — the money, the health thing, the family situation, the project that keeps stalling — and I'll hand you back the pattern, because underneath all of those details there's usually one current running the whole show, and that's what we're after.

I'm not going to take your reading of your life at face value, and I'm not going to agree with the smaller version of you no matter how well she argues her case. I'll say the thing nobody around you will say, because you're not fragile and because that's what you came for.

A diagnostic session in progress

On complexity

It really doesn't have to be this complicated.

I know you've been carrying this a while, and I imagine there's some regret in there about how long it's taken, maybe some shame sitting underneath that. You can set that down for now.

Anything done that doesn't hit the root is exhausting. Usually that's compensation for the block rather than the way through it. When we find the actual thing, a lot of that falls away on its own and you get to do less, work more directly, and get more back for less effort.

And I think if you're honest, that's closer to what you actually want than any of the words you'd normally reach for. Not more capacity, not more drive, not another breakthrough that feels enormous for a week and then leaves the furniture exactly where it was. You want to put something down.

What people said afterward

Recognition doesn't feel like new information.

I feel like you are telling me what I already know.

That's what recognition feels like. It isn't new information, it's something you've always known finally being allowed into the light.

I feel awkward in my own skin since our talk.

Good. That's the old shape not fitting anymore.

It looks like I may need your assistance to shatter the cage that I unknowingly put around myself.

Unknowingly. That's the whole thing right there — you built it, you're living in it, and you can't see the bars from the inside.

What you leave with

THE thing, named out loud.

  1. The one thing, named out loud where you can see it.
  2. What it's been protecting, and why it built itself in the first place.
  3. Why nothing you've tried has been able to move it.
  4. One clear next move — just the one, because scattering your energy is usually part of what's been happening rather than the way out of it.

You'll also leave knowing why you were never going to find this on your own. Most of my clients have spent years looking directly at their own lives, coming up empty, and quietly deciding that means something is wrong with them. It doesn't. It means they were doing the one thing that structurally cannot be done alone.

You'll have the recording and a written summary, so none of it has to live in your head.

The invitation

One session is enough to find out.

What you choose to do from there is unfathomable to you now, but it will look like everything that was in the way the whole time. And you will look at life anew.
